Ardomani’s packaging system was developed around the cultural and architectural identity of Bastam and Shahroud. Rather than relying on decorative motifs as surface styling, the project translated locally documented architectural patterns into a contemporary packaging language.

Approach
The process began with photographing and documenting architectural motifs from the Bayazid Bastami shrine complex and the adjacent religious structure in Bastam. The motifs were analyzed, simplified, redrawn, and developed into a proprietary family of graphic patterns. The resulting system was designed to make the packaging carry a sense of regional identity while remaining contemporary and suitable for both local presentation and export.
